STAWELL - Sam Williams was honoured for an outstanding season in Stawell Warriors seventeen and under football.
Williams led the vote count after round five by seven votes and extended his lead to 22 after round 15.
He went on to take home the best and fairest award with 76 votes, while runner up was Jarrod Illig on 51.
Pilo Dagiaro finished third with 46 votes ahead of fourth placed Tait Hendy (31) and Callum Rickard (15).
Tait Hendy received the most consistent award, Callum Rickard was named as the most improved player and Ethan Marrow accepted the best first year player trophy.
Pilo Dagiaro was leading goal kicker, booting 39 for the season.
Koby Stewart and Mitch Kelly shared the coach's award.
Jack Walker was crowned Stawell Warriors 14 and under best and fairest for 2013.
Walker stood tall across the forward line this season and led the way throughout the vote count.
He was challenged by Jesse Portelli after round 15, holding a 12 vote lead but stormed home to win with 76 votes.
Portelli and Ben Leong, who scored two best on ground votes in the final round, tied for runner up spoils with 55 votes.
Marcus Elliott was named most consistent, Bailey Taylor received the most improved player award while Josh Kelly took home best under 13 player honours.
Riley Graveson and Tom Walker both received recognition for their season by picking up the coach's award.
