STC - Round two of the Stawell Tennis Club Friday night competition commences tonight, with the Crowe Horwath team taking to the courts for the first time after having the bye in the opening round.
Howard Dunn and newcomer Ben Stockdale lead the men's division, while Deb Hart and Jess Hogg will take charge of showing the ladies how to serve and volley like Pat Cash in his prime.
Crowe Horwath takes on Frewstal, who failed to take home the points last week and will be keen to win some early sets and put pressure on the new team early.
Farrer's Tyrepower come up against Cassidy Painting in what should be a close contest.
Tyrepower lost by five games last week while Cassidy Painting snuck home by a mere three games.
Farrer's Tyrepower's younger brigade of Tait Hendy, Mitch Collins and Michael Ellis will be better off with a hit under their belts and they will need to be ready as they come up against Cassidy Painting's Michael Hackwill, Brae Scantleton and Blair Clayton.
The Cassidy Painting trio helped their side to an opening round win last week.
Match number three has Stawell Toyota up against Raunchy Rooster.
Toyota took a while to warm up last week in the cool conditions but once the blood started flowing freely, the side ensured they started the season with a win.
On the other hand, Raunchy Rooster's first round was best forgotten as they failed to fire.
Toyota's men, including Nick Seeary, Phil Hutton and Paul Summers, led the way last week so Raunchy Rooster will need an all-round team effort to achieve their first victory in the competition.
David O Jones Mitre 10 has the bye tonight.
