STAWELL - Stawell Show Day is fast approaching and organisers are expecting a record number of entries in the Beaut Ute, Car and Bike competition.
The novelty numberplates which proved so popular with entrants last year will again be given out, this year to the first sixty entrants to arrive at the Showgrounds.
This year's numberplate has been generously designed by Lachy Ralph, of Flying Nail productions.
The Stawell Show is on Saturday October 26 so there is still plenty of time to get out the polish, put a shine on your dream machine, and join in the fun on Show Day.
A new class for Hot Rods has been introduced this year and the other classes comprise Best Beaut Ute, B&S Ute, Feral Ute, Classic/Muscle Car, Female's Ute/Car, and Best Presented Motorbike.
A great range of sashes, trophies and prizes are on offer thanks to Waacks Bakery, Mick's Towing, TK Auto Electrex, Pykes Pets & Cycles and the Haircutters Workshop.
Entry to each class costs $5 and each vehicle can enter a maximum of two classes.
Free gate admission is available to the driver/rider of entries at the showgrounds by 10am.
