STAWELL - A new cubby house built by the Stawell Men's Shed has been a hit with children at Taylors Gully Children's Centre.
The new cubby has plenty of room to play in and boasts large windows and a verandah.
Men's Shed members have also built six new picnic tables which will allow children and staff to enjoy meals outside.
Northern Grampians Shire Council Team Leader Family and Children's Services, Di Hodder said Taylors Gully was extremely grateful to the Men's Shed.
"We would like to thank the Men's Shed members for all their hard work," she said.
"The cubby house and the picnic tables look fantastic and the children will get hours of enjoyment out of them."
Stawell Men's Shed is driven by a small voluntary committee. The initiative facilitates learning workshops and building projects that benefit the community.
The Men's Shed is located at 11 Smith Street, Stawell and is open between 9am and 4pm, each Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
