In their second season back after disbanding, the Lions will be looking to go out on a high with win number seven, which would be a huge turnaround on last season.
Back in round one, these two teams put on a thriller, with Lismore/Derrinallum just getting over the line by three points.
With both teams out of finals contention we can expect another fierce clash tomorrow and with pride on the line the Lions line up this time with a home ground advantage.
While they will be desperate for a win, it will take a big effort from what is a weary and injury ravaged Lions team.
The Lions injury list continued to grow in last week's clash against Penshurst.
Key defender Bobbie Garley will miss this clash tomorrow with a fractured wrist, Sam Cocks will miss with a knee injury, while BJ Burton remains in doubt with an ongoing achilles injury.
Josh McCartney will miss due to work commitments, while Matt Bourke is unavailable. All of this puts a lot of pressure on the Lions playing list.
No doubt Lions coach, Nick Thomas will not be using this as an excuse going into this match.
After a season of so many near misses Thomas and the playing group will be determined to finish the season on a high and give the Lions something to celebrate, after what has been a vastly improved Lions outfit under Thomas' leadership, compared to the 2012 season.
Good news for the Lions is that their reserves team will not be ending their season tomorrow.
After going winless in season 2012, the Lions reserves have plenty on the line tomorrow when they clash with Lismore/Derrinallum as they will be playing off for third spot and the all important double chance.
In their round one clash the Demons did have the better of the Lions and were in fact comfortable winners, but the Lions will be keen to set up their finals campaign, with a win at home tomorrow.
With coach Damian Scott having almost a full complement of players to choose from for the first time this season, expectations will be high.
Players such as Craig and Ash Cooper, Nathan and Tim Shalders and onballers Steven Lodge and Jaysen Smith will be keys to the Lions success tomorrow.
