STAWELL - Youngsters from Stawell and surrounding districts are gearing up for the start of Auskick in Stawell.
Auskick will officially kick off after Easter, but youngsters are encouraged to ensure their parents have registered them for the program online. All registrations this year must be online at www.aflauskick.com.au
At this stage, Auskick in Stawell is without a co-ordinator and the search is on for a new leader to take the reins.
Steve Nicholls, who has been co-ordinator for the past three seasons, said it was vital a parent or member of the community stepped up and took on the role, otherwise there may not be an Auskick program this year.
"Stawell Football Club has been kind enough to offer their services by taking on the administration side of the program, but we really need an onfield coordinator to run the program each week," Mr Nicholls said.
