Countdown to Easter Saturday night ball

STAWELL - The Stawell Entertainment Centre will rock out this Easter, when StawellBiz and Raising Dust join forces to host a huge Easter Saturday Ball on March 30.

The Ball is a swan song for the networking group Raising Dust, which is winding up after six years.

"We wanted to go out with a bang so we approached StawellBiz to help us organise an over 18s Easter Ball," said Raising Dust's Sheree Crawford.

"By pooling resources with another not-for-profit group we're able to put on an affordable event for people who want a great night out on Easter Saturday."

Live music on the night will be provided by top local musical duo Swift Revenge and Geelong's premier cover band Test Pilot Molly.

They will play a variety of music from the 1960s to today.

They'll also be a DJ playing during breaks.

StawellBiz president Beth Gibson said the business group was excited to help bring a big event like the ball to the Stawell Easter festival program.

"The bands will appeal to all age groups and it's a great opportunity to get dressed up and have an awesome night out with a group of friends," she said.

"If you have visitors staying with you, bring them along too."

The ball will start at 7pm with the Stawell Football Club running a bar.

Tickets are $50 per person, which will cover entertainment and finger food throughout the evening.

Tickets are available online now at Ticket booth.
