STAWELL - A big crowd of about 300 people joined 'The Block:All Stars' contestants Duncan and Mark as they dropped in on Stawell Mitre 10 last weekend.
Event organiser Johanna Altmann said the pair spent two hours at the business mixing with residents and fans of the show.
"Mark and Duncan were very impressed with the size and look of our store and a lot of people commented that they were great guys just like on television," she said.
"I think the people liked these guys a bit more than the couple from last year, they welcomed them with open arms, really loved them."
The road show started off with Mark and Duncan talking about their experience while on the block.
This was followed by a question and answer session.
"Mark and Duncan were asked questions from the crowd such as did you receive a day off from the block or was it 24/7," Ms Altmann said.
"For the record, their answer was no day off.
"Some of the people asked what their favourite room was and one child even asked if they drank beer on the job.
"Mark and Duncan were also asked how many challenges they had won, but said they couldn't give too much away as viewers were only up to bathroom week.
"Duncan's favourite room so far is the bathroom and Mark's for the whole series is the hall way which viewers haven't seen yet.
"The hallway is this week's room along with linen cupboard and formal lounge."
Included in the road show was a competition involving two children that Mark and Duncan hand picked from the crowd.
"A boy and girl were picked from the crowd to put together some garden beds and spell out in writing 'Mitre 10',Ms Altmann said.
The two teams led by Duncan and Mark battled it out with Duncan's team the fastest.
"We also had a colouring competition that we received over 60 entries for," Ms Altmann said.
Mark and Duncan picked six year old Allissa as the winner, she won a Sony stereo.
"We also had a free sausage sizzle, hot jam donuts and giveaways such as lolly bags, hats, beach balls, thongs and balloons, our car park was full," Ms Altmann said.
After all of the activities Mark and Duncan stayed on to sign autographs and appear in photos.
The duo had earlier spent time at the Mitre 10 store in Ararat.
