STAWELL - Joan Fletcher and Carol Walter have been crowned the Henderson Steel ladies Stawell Golf Club fourball stableford aggregate champions for 2013.
The pair added to their scintillating first round score of 79 with 71, taking their total to 150 points following two rounds.
Overall championship runner up was Laura Martin and Lyn Willcock with 140 points.
Martin and Willcock were one of three pairs in the top placings following round one with a score of 66.
In a strong individual performance Martin (43) led Willcock (31) to a second round division (1) win with 74 points, finishing three ahead of Fletcher and Walter.
The second round was sponsored by Sheer Illusions.
Nearest pin winners were Dot Russell on the Albright Metal Recyclers sixth hole, Johanna Kuypers won the Harry's Brake and Clutch ninth, Eunice Balle claimed the HiWay 8 Motel 13th and Jo Orr took out the Pamper Moi 17th.
Tomorrow is the ladies monthly medal, sponsored by Stawell Town Hall Hotel.
