STAWELL - Eventide Homes will hold a Glitz and Glamour Ball to assist in raising funds for a new sensory garden.
The fundraiser, organised by staff at the residential aged care facility, will be held at the Stawell Entertainment Centre from 7.30pm on Saturday, February 23. Tickets are $65 and include a three course supper, bring your own drinks.
The night will include lucky prizes and raffles.
Staff are also calling for donations of items that could be purchased as part of the Monster Auction to be held on the night.
The sensory garden was developed as part of the new wing which will also include herb and vegetable gardens, a putting green and walking track.
Eventide Homes chief executive officer Sue Blakey said staff participation was vital in the development of the wing and this event.
"We are grateful for the support of individuals and organisations that have enabled us to fund past initiatives and would appreciate any future support that may assist us in making this vision for a hands on sensory garden a reality," she said.
"All donations are tax deductible and will be acknowledged formally.
"If you are unable to attend our ball, we hope that you may consider making a donation of an item that may be auctioned during the night."
