HALLS GAP - Cousins from Ballarat chose the Halls Gap pool as the place to cool down during a recent stay in the Grampians.
Katrina Gallagher said the families who spent a week at Halls Gap were involved in a range of activities including walking and relaxing.
"We went to Venus Baths, Silverband Falls and Halls Gap Zoo," she said.
Mrs Gallagher said they have been coming for many years.
"We stay at the caravan park and have been coming to the area for the last 28 years," she said.
Other travellers headed to the pool during the recent wave of hot conditions.
Olivia and Fraser Brooks from Berwick in Melbourne opted for the pool as the rest of the family headed for McKenzie Falls.
"We decided with it being so hot and the pool so close to the caravan park where we stay, we would just hang here for a while," Ms Brooks said.
