District trainers Peter Manning and Marni Bibby have been rewarded for their top class performances winning Hygain's Trainer of the Month awards.
Great Western trainer Peter Manning picked up the prestigious award after his brilliant month of training in August, where his pacer Ananz finished second at Globe Derby in the three year old fillies $50,000 final, as well as a second in the Breeders Crown repercharge at Yarra Valley and was then a winner in the Breeders Crown consolation at Tabcorp Park.
Manning's Breeders Crown campaign also chalked up success with Trojan Luck winning at Tabcorp Park in heat three of the Breeders Crown, while Weary Pockets won the Breeders Crown consolation at Tabcorp Park.
Several other winners came Manning's way throughout the month, with Joule Count at Horsham, Look Here Bloke at Tabcorp Park, Mendelico at Bendigo, Effective Torque at Ararat and Carleton Hill at Horsham.
Navarre trainer Marni Bibby was judged on her performances with Ubringthedrinks, which she successfully drove to a win at Mildura, seeing her take out the September trainer of the month award.
Both trainers will received a voucher from Mussett Upholstery and Saddlery, entitling them to four 20kg bags of Hygain stock feed.
