STAWELL - Jan Alborough and Darren Jenkinson (ok and Dr Dolittle, Richard Hackwill) were the class of the field on Saturday at Stawell Golf Club.
Their scores of five up were good enough to take out ladies and A grade in the Seppelt Wineries bogey event.
Darren defeated playing partner, Richard Hackwill on a countback, with Jan scoring a victory over Lyn Willcock by one.
B grade was also a close affair with David Sears on three up defeating Col Prockter by one.
A countback was also needed to separate the winner, Rob Blachford and John Cater in C grade.
Nearest the pin winners were Richard Hackwill on the Stawell Hydraulics third, Allan Jamieson on the Jeff O'Donnell Electrics and Air Conditioning sixth, Lyn Willcock should watch out for the tax man after yet again she took the booty on the ninth, Darren Jenkinson on the Hiway 8 Motel 13th, Maxy Waters on the Howden Toyota 17th and Leighton Dunn gave nobody a chance, after making an eagle on the Stawell Baptist Church 18th.
His divine intervention came early!
