Stawell Westlift Warriors will be celebrating ten years since their premiership success over Ararat this weekend.
Going in as underdogs, Stawell upset the red-hot Rats by 10 points and starting tonight, will celebrate the victory at Central Park.
Commencing from 6pm, all 2000 premiership players will meet upstairs in the Warriors function room, in conjunction with Stawell 13 and Under Football Association matches.
Tomorrow all premiership players, coaches and committee, current club sponsors, senior team members and committee representatives will meet with a welcome from president Shane Rathgeber.
A presentation from 2000 president Robert Holmes and coach Murray Emerson will follow, while current coach Brad Cassidy will then give a response.
Premiership members will watch the match with Stawell and Ararat take place after lunch, before they will be greeted with a casserole tea in an open invitation to the game day wrap-up.
The 2000 premiership team, along with president and coach, will then be presented, before a replay of the match will be put on the big screen.
Sunday is a wind-up of the weekend, with 2000 premiership team taking on the current Warriors team in a `Tug of War' contest, starting at 11am and with a barbecue lunch to follow.
Coach of the 2000 premiership team, Murray Emerson, said the weekend will be a great chance for all players to catch up again.
``It's exciting to be celebrating the reunion of our 2000 premiership,'' Emerson said.
``All players have indicated that they will be attending and all the boys are anticipating a great reunion.
``Let's get together the 2000 premiership side in its celebrations.''
