Visitors to Halls Gap over the Melbourne Cup weekend had the opportunity to view a second Grampians Four artists spring exhibition.
The exhibition proved so popular, that the MOCO Gallery at Grampians Adventure Golf has decided to extend the exhibition until this Sunday.
Exhibiting artists, Laurie Evans, Nanette Bourke, Alan Leishman and Helen Leach enjoyed a highly successful annual exhibition at the Colonial Motor Inn during October. Nanette Bourke and Laurie Evans were award winners at the recent Wimmera Art Exhibition in Horsham.
Halls Gap's MOCO Gallery invited the group to mount an exhibition from October 30 to November 3 and now residents have been given extra time to view the works. The display includes traditional to contemporary works in oils, acrylics and pastels, lino-cut prints and giclee prints.
MOCO Gallery adjoins the Grampians Adventure Golf venue south of Halls Gap town centre. Proprietors, Monique and Colin Cummings, have actively promoted regional artists and artisans since the gallery opened last year.
During the exhibition, Helen Leach has been painting at the gallery. Helen has been working on a second acrylic painting of the gallery garden. The first was painted during the Grampians Arts Trail last Easter and hangs in the gallery cafe.
In addition to the Grampians Four exhibition, the Halls Gap Zoo has recently added to its attractions a new display of high-quality wildlife art and this is certain to prove popular among visitors.
