The Marnoo branch of Country Women's Association celebrated Christmas with an evening of fun and frivolity at the home of Sandra Brown.
The December dinner meeting capped off of busy year for the branch, which included hosting the 2009 East Wimmera Group Christmas Luncheon.
The day was hot but well attended by the members who travelled from St Arnaud, Stuart Mill, Bealiba, Donald and Charlton.
The luncheon raised the fabulous amount of $531 which was donated to the CWA Club.
The Marnoo ladies are currently looking forward to 2010, when they will host an Australia Day breakfast and flag raising ceremony at the Marnoo Hall on January 26 at 8am.
They will also cater for a clearing sale in February and hold a quilt and craft display over the March long weekend, which will feature quilts and crafts from the local area.
The ladies at the CWA recommend you keep this date in mind for a visit to Marnoo.
